When emailing - cc Emma in so she knows what’s going on

Skipton - 2% interest annually whereas HSBC monthly 1.2% interest

Nearest Skipton branch is in Dorking

Large amount from Skipton moved to current savings account already

All committee members present at the meeting are happy for the Skipton account to be closed

When money has been moved etc, let Emma know to support

No card for times such as meetings etc? - should get a card rather than use personal accounts

Stella now primary user for the bank, and main user on sum up account

Someone else to be added on mandates etc instead of Keith (Sally-Anne)

Sally-Anne to get access too

4. Discipline Reports

General numbers are very high, still good participation

Maybe Worthing Leisure Centre if the numbers get higher?

Add an extra panel - not sure if space?

Festival

Sky high doing it but nothing for report

Stars do festival but nothing for report

Trampoline/DMT

Trampoline - 5 clubs in the discipline

Multidisciplinary coaching course - tough for those that don’t have multi disciplines in their club

Trampoline helper run as an addition to gymnastics rotations rather than a singular discipline

Aim to not lose coaches, and can diverse from the basics and coach in multi disciplines

Team-gym

Report attached

Men's Artistic

Report attached

Men’s - Ignite comp - low level - up to 4hrs (telford - lilleshall)

Women's Artistic

WAG Sussex invitational this weekend - slightly lower entries as later in year

5. Welfare Report

Report attached

Notify clubs of concussion guidance - BG - worth reading - send to clubs, as well as child employment

Lack of posting maybe better? Open and closed pages?

AI - be aware of what is being posted - straight to police in case of blackmail

SE AGM in early September - this will be taken to that too

6. Any other business

6.1 Who can attend Sussex Meetings

After Covid - meetings were opened but no one came

Every other meeting open/closed but no one came

Don’t need it open - strong committee and should come through reps etc

AGM open meeting - others closed

Make AGM more useful and attractive to other clubs - how?

Awards at AGM? Sussex Awards - simple etc

^ dinner and awards?

6.2 Expenses

Committees expenses - HMRC - 55p a mile - committee happy with that for our charge

6.3 Sussex Champs

Sussex Championships - weekend thing - add awards (sat eve?)

Think about putting it all back together rather than separate disciplines?

Biannually? - would work better financially - look for 2028?

^ DMT and tramp to be added in?

Guildford could be a potential venue (but in Surrey), same as Triangle and K2

Lisa to enquire with Triangle, Kim to enquire with Gymnova

6.4 Next Meeting

Wednesday 14th Oct, evening meeting. Venue TBC

The meeting ended at 12:21pm.
