Progress report
1. County champs for ABSG level was held again at Hawth Gymnastics club K2 Leisure center on 14th June .
We had 149 entries from 12 clubs over the county, youth leader helpers again from Wickers, worthing and Brighton
WE WOULD LIKE TO Thank Dawn and all others who came and helped with the event
We had local company Jordens leotards in attendance
2. We would like to still run a Sussex county young development leaders/ coaches workshop and will give opportunity for all clubs across the county to be involved, We are hoping to get BG regional coaching development team to attend this event, to give support and advise to the coaches/ clubs on the new foundation level qualifications, as well as covering safe guarding for young coaches and options that are available for them within their clubs. This is now planed for the Autumn or spring term date and Venue TBC
3. We have also been looking into 4x4 comp for the county but are still struggling to find a venue to accommodate our timetable within a realistic budget and venue availability. We will keep looking and hopefully have something by the end of 2027 in place
Action to be taken in the next 6 months.
1. Look into starting Back up the Sussex 4x4 also in 2026/2027
2. Book in Youth leader and junior coaches’ workshop 2026
3. Book comp dates for 2027 – Novice & Inter county champs – 21st March – Lancing
