Progress report
NO other events held since the last report.
1. We would like to still run a Sussex county young development leaders/ coachesworkshop and will give opportunity for all clubs across the county to be involved, We are hoping to get BG regional coaching development team to attend this event, I am in talks with Carina our Regional Rep to give support and advise to the coaches/ clubs on the new foundation level qualifications, as well as covering safeguarding for young coaches and options that are available for them within their clubs. This is now planed for spring term date and Venue TBC
2. We have still been looking into 4x4 comp for the county but are still struggling to find a venue to accommodate our timetable within a realistic budget and venue availability. We have been passed contact from Sally Anne regarding a new line of enquire for grass roots budget possibilities and if all else fails for venue that can accommodate us within the county I have an option of using Guildford Spectrum it would be just date availability so hopefully have something put in place by 2027
Action to be taken in the next 6 months.
1. Look into starting Back up the Sussex 4x4 also in 2027
2. Book in Youth leader and junior coaches’ workshop 2027
3. Book comp dates for 2027 – Novice & Inter county champs – 21st March – Lancing
