Chairman’s Report – Sussex Gymnastics, 2025
Dear Members, Coaches, and Volunteers,
It is a pleasure to present the Chairman’s Report for Sussex Gymnastics for the year 2025. This has been a year of progress, and achievement for the county, and all members proud of what they have accomplished together.
Achievements and Milestones
This year, the county has excelled in numerous competitions. County funds increased by more than 10,000 competitions that took place, 10 in all. This is a testament to the hard work of our club managers, coaches, volunteers
Financial Overview
From a financial perspective, we have seen steady growth thanks to competitions held in the county. The introduction of new competitions and events has helped boost income streams, ensuring that we can reinvest in the county. We remain in a strong financial position, and we are grateful for the continued support of our county members
Challenges and Areas for Improvement
While we’ve had a successful year, we’ve also faced challenges, particularly in terms of Ongoing shortage of qualified coaches, these being addressed through judging workshops, coach funding by the county and an updated general competitive criteria has helped more general gymnasts to take part in competitive events.
Looking Ahead
We plan to further improve our coaching standards by investing in continued education for our coaches. We are also exploring new ways to make gymnastics more inclusive, especially for underrepresented groups in our community. In the coming year, we aim to increase our competition participation and build on our past successes, with the ultimate goal of nurturing even more champions—both on and off the mat.
Closing Remarks
In closing, thanks to each and every one of you for your hard work and support throughout the year. Sussex Gymnastics continues to grow and thrive because of the dedication of our members, gymnasts, coaches, volunteers, and families. We look forward to another year of success and community at Sussex Gymnastics.
Thank you once again for your continued commitment to our county
Chairman, Sussex Gymnastics
